Burn Prevention and Awareness

February 3-9 is National Burn Awareness Week. Burn injuries continue to be one of the leading causes of accidental death and injury in the United States. Although most burn injuries occur in the home, about 10% do happen at the workplace. Walking in Wintery Conditions

Although our Grounds and Custodial Units do an excellent job with clearing and treating the walkways, steps and parking lots when snow/ice hits UD, always be sure to exercise caution when walking on campus during cold weather conditions. How to Beat Post-Holiday Letdown

While the potential for experiencing down feelings during the holidays or feeling let down after the holidays iscertainly there, by being aware and taking proactive steps to ward off this tendency, you can both enjoy the holidays more and head into the new year with a positive attitude and keep your focus on staying safe.
