Ladder Safety

The American Ladder Institute (ALI) has identified March as National ladder Safety Month. This movement is dedicated to ladder safety awareness in an effort to decrease the number of ladder related injuries. Every year, over 100 people die in ladder accidents, and thousands more suffer disabling injuries. Every step matters. From a simple step stool to a large extension ladder, make sure you’re putting the right foot forward.

Heart Health

February is Heart Month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Every year, 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease. The good news is that heart disease can often be prevented when people make healthy choices and manage their overall health.

Driving in Snow/Ice Conditions

Driving slowly is the key to maintaining control on snowy or icy roads. All maneuvers such as accelerating, stopping, and turning take longer and are less predictable when the pavement is covered with snow and ice than they are on wet or dry pavement.
