Former mayor Jerry Clifton won Tuesday’s special election to finish the term of Stu Markham, who resigned in September. Clifton got 45 percent of the vote and UD professor Mike O’Neal came in second with 41 percent. Clifton will serve through April 2025. (NewarkPostOnline)
