Pres. Biden and Gov. Carney have ordered all flags at half-staff in memory of former Secretary of State, Gen. Colin Powell.

Gov. Carney has ordered state flags at half-staff on Saturday 10/02/21 in memory of Second Lieutenant George M. Johnson, in recognition of his service during WWII. Flags are to be returned at sunset.

POW/MIA flags are to be displayed in honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day until sunset.

Governor Carney has ordered the Delaware flag to be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.

President Biden and Gov Carney have ordered flags lowered until sunset on August 30, 2021 to honor the U.S. service members and other victims killed in the terrorist attack on August 26, 2021, in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Flags are lowered until sunset on May 30, 2021 out of respect for victims of the San Jose shooting on May 26, 2021.
