Flag Status

Gov. Carney has ordered U.S. and Delaware flags be flown at half-staff beginning at the start of business 09/11/20 in honor of Patriot Day. Flags shall return to full staff at the close of business.

Gov. Carney has ordered the Delaware state flag to be lowered September 9, 2020 to honor the passing of former Milford mayor Joseph Ronald “Ronnie” Rogers, the longest serving mayor in state history. Flag is to return to full staff at the end of business.

Gov. Carney has ordered the Delaware state flag be lowered to half staff in observance of Overdose Awareness Day. Flags are to be returned to full staff at the close of business.

Gov. Carney and President Trump have ordered the United States and Delaware flags at state buildings be flown at half-staff in memory of Rep. John Lewis of Georgia. Flags are to be returned to full staff Monday morning, July 20.

Flags are to be lowered to half staff the morning of Friday, July 10 and returned to full staff at the close of business that day to honor the passing of former State Representative Donald Clark on June 24, 2020.
