Single Stream Recycling Statistics
Traditionally the effectiveness of recycling programs is measured by the diversion rate. Diversion rates measure the extent of which waste is diverted from state landfills and instead recycled.
The Diversion rate is calculated by dividing the total tons of recyclable material collected by all non-commercial refuse and recycling material collected.
This page will keep members of the UD community informed on our progress in waste reduction and recycling. The table below shows statistics over the past three fiscal years.
