The Operations Center serves as the focal point for all service calls going from the University community to the Facilities mechanics. All customer service issues are dealt with through this central location.
The Operations Center is responsible for the following activities:
- Provide a central call in point for the university community for all maintenance issues including academics, residential and conference facilities and dining facilities
- Dispatch all service calls out to all shops within Facilities
- Maintain the FIX-IT system that allows customers an additional option to report maintenance problems to our office
- Coordinate all utility shutdowns on the university campus.

- Serve as the university's Miss Utility site to ensure that proper stakeout procedures are followed prior to digging on campus sites
- To request a Utility Outage please use this form at least 5 days in advance.
