Lewes Campus Maintenance and Operations
The objective of this division is to operate and maintain the buildings, systems,
grounds and equipment of the University's physical facilities in Lewes, Delaware.
Our staff of 15, which includes carpenters, plumbers, grounds workers, mechanics,
custodians, an electrician and a HVAC technician, are dedicated to providing
the best possible customer service to the university community.
We manage and maintain the Franklin C. Daiber Housing Complex, which provides housing
for graduate students, visiting professors/scientists and faculty for the College of
Marine and Earth Studies. The complex has 28 three-bedroom and two two-bedroom,
semi-detached ranch houses. It is located approximately 2 miles from
the Hugh R. Sharp Campus.
We also manage and maintain the Henlopen Dormitory. It provides housing for
undergraduates participating in the summer intern programs offered through the
College of Marine and Earth Studies.
